The Pro V2 enjoyed a little more time in the spotlight when it was featured on a Texas CBS affiliate's evening news as the "Top Story" of the day.
In addition to coverage on CBS and ABC stations in Arizona and an NBC affiliate in Washington over the past few months, this latest story from CBS19 focuses on Guardian 8's Pro V2 donations to select school districts across the country (specifically Longview Independent School District). These donations and partnerships are part of a larger initiative to expand the Pro V2's presence in highly-sensitive facilities like schools. In exchange for the units and training, the selected school districts serve as a test bed for Guardian 8 to measure the results of the deployments.
With a reduction in the number of non-fatal incidents of violence in the partner schools (versus pre-deployment incident statistics), the data will help Guardian 8 establish itself as one of the premier options for school safety personnel.
